Hosting a painting party is fun! Learn how to create a meaningful sign to display in your home or give as a gift. Paradise Paint Parties serves the greater Northern California area. You pick the date & time to invite your friends and family for a unique and creative experience!

What is a sign painting party?

At a Paradise Painting Party, you and your guests will have the chance to customize your own wood sign in the size, design and paint color to match your home decor. We bring the wooden signs, chalk paint, supplies & stencil designs for a fun-filled event!  Each person chooses from over 600 designs!

Host a private party with your friends, co-workers, neighbors and family!  Celebrate a birthday party, host a girls night, wedding shower or bachelorette party, company or church party, mommy group, fundraiser, school class or team event. Parties are available 7 days a week.

How much does it cost to attend a workshop?

Projects begin at $30. We accept all major credit/debit cards and Paypal. Checkout our current sign designs here and more here, as they change frequently and include limited time designs. Don't see a design you like? Send us your custom design request and we will create a design that we think works with the message and looks best on the sign. Once we create a custom design, we add it to our collection and make it available for future parties. If you would like it to remain exclusively for you, a custom design cost will be charged.

What is the guest minimum and maximum? do you offer a hostess thank you?

We do require a minimum of 8 guests per private party. (10 guests minimum for parties over 50 miles from zip code 95363) Maximum number of guests - how many people you can comfortably seat at tables in a space with good overhead lighting.

What is expected of a host/hostess?

If desired, we ask that our host/hostess provide snacks & beverages and enough tables & chairs to accommodate guests and we will provide the rest! It's not messy, but we will provide table coverings to ensure an easy clean-up. Boards are pre-stained to reduce the drying process at the party leaving more time to create and chat. Hanging hardware is not pre-installed, but is included so each guest can decide how they would like to display their sign.

How long does a party last?

Private paint parties last 2-3 hours depending on the project. Children’s parties average 2 hours. 


Private parties can be booked in and around the greater Northern California area. We are mobile! Central Valley: Modesto, Turlock, Tracy, Stockton, Manteca, Sacramento, San Francisco, San Jose, Monterey.... you provide the location and we will bring everything you need to host your party! Parties over 50 miles from zip code 95363 require 10 guest minimum. 

Check our calendar of events for the current public parties! Currently we have parties at Tracy's Nursery and Garden in Tracy on the second Wednesday of every month. And at Chuck's Place in Manteca on the third Wednesday of the month. 


We do provide aprons, but paint may transfer to your clothes. We suggest wearing something you don’t mind getting paint on. We do believe "less is more" so the paint is applied in thin layers. Your sign will be dry and ready for you to take home without risk of transferring paint to your car’s interior.

Do you offer paint parties for kids?

Absolutely! Children events are perfect for any occasion!

Once you have reserved your paint party, you will receive a digital invitation to send to your guests by text, email and post on social media. The invitation will include the website address to individually register and pay for their project. Due to the custom nature of our projects, we don't allow for refunds but we can give you a credit for a future workshop. Cancellation policy here
